Returns

We do not issue refunds for confiscated or returned items from prisons/jails/corrections facilities. Facilities have an inspection process that damages paper products. The buyer assumes all responsibility for what they send to a facility.

Refunds

NO REFUNDS/NO CREDITS will be issued for returned item(s) that are damaged and not in original condition as shipped. Examples include: Damaged Cover, Bent Pages, Staples in Pages, Markings, Holes, etc.

  • MAGAZINES4INMATES is not liable for customer error (i.e. providing an incorrect shipping address, submitting orders with missing information (name, ID number, etc.), sending restricted or inappropriate items to an inmate).
  • MAGAZINES4INMATES is not responsible for minor damages to magazines incurred during shipping such as scrapes, bends, nicks, cuts, etc.

Cancellations

In order to provide the best customer service to all and ensure orders are shipped as quickly as possible while maintaining low prices, we utilize automated systems that do not accept changes to an order once it has been placed.

*We are not liable for situations where inaccurate shipping address is supplied by the customer or wrong items were ordered.

Re-Shipments

We DO NOT re-ship orders for ANY reason. When our policy of pre-purchase verification with the facility is followed and the correct address information is provided, then there will be no reason to re-ship an order. If an error is made by Magazines4Inmates, we will refund in full for the error.

Subscriptions

All magazine subscription purchases, including gift subscriptions, are final. We do not offer full or prorated cash refunds, store credits, or exchanges once a subscription term has begun or payment has been processed.

  • We do NOT support recurring billing. Subscriptions will not auto-renew.
  • Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.
  • The Publisher will notify you of price changes via email.
  • No additional fees will be charged for any reason.
  • All subscriptions are PRINT magazines.

Inmate Orders

***PLEASE BE AWARE:*** Any orders placed for inmates are at the buyers' risk. We cannot guarantee delivery of our publications to inmates due to the different REGULATIONS in each state/FACILITY respectively. Before placing orders, we REQUIRE you to contact the facility and see if the titles being ordered are acceptable. There are NO REFUNDS on orders being shipped to correctional facilities.

Shipping Limitations

When an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this Web Site. All purchases from this Web Site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this Web Site pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier.

*You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.
