About Magazines4Inmates
Magazines4Inmates is a secure, compliance-first commerce platform that helps families and friends send verified magazines, books, and reading material to loved ones incarcerated in federal, state, county, and private correctional facilities across the United States. We combine a facility-verified catalog, compliance-aware checkout, and secure payment processing so every order meets institutional mailroom rules before it ever ships.
What we do
We make it safe and simple to send approved reading material to inmates, with every shipment verified against facility-specific rules.
Who it's for
Families, advocates, and supporters of incarcerated individuals who want a reliable, dignified way to stay connected through reading.
Who builds it
Built and maintained by the Magazines4Inmates team, with expertise in correctional mail regulations and secure fulfillment.
Our mission
Magazines4Inmates is built and maintained by a team with deep expertise in correctional mail regulations, publisher partnerships, and secure e-commerce fulfillment. Our mission is to keep families connected through reading — delivering knowledge, comfort, and a link to the outside world with dignity, accuracy, and full compliance. Every package is handled with care so that your loved one receives a meaningful connection from home, processed to clear security review without delay.
The platform is also designed for facility mailroom staff and partners who depend on accurate, rule-compliant shipments. By verifying each order against the destination facility's weight limits and allowed categories before checkout, we reduce rejections and help ensure successful delivery to the people who matter most.
